The Bell

I always find the Rose and Crown good all round service and quality and again it didn&#39;t disoppoint. I went with four friends who had never been and they really enjoyed it as well.

The restaurant was very nice and the staff were excellent, very attentive and very happy to help out. We spilt a drink and they quickly wiped it away and replaced it free of charge so well done and thank you for this.Food choice was good but the amount of meat on the meal seemed small, however the quality was very nice. Th only real criticism was that the  roast potatoes were very dry inside and out which was a pity. Overall we had a very nice meal and we will definitely be going back very soon.

Restaurant was very busy, so if you are in hurry it may not be the best place to go, but actually in our case it really was not an issue and may have actually improved the experience. The food was definitely worth waiting for and there seemed to genuine concern over dealing with specific requirements. It was reasonably priced but certainly not pub grub.
